ACADEMIC PROJECT

Name of project: Analysis, Design and Estimation of Multi Storeyed Building

Project Description: The project involved the complete planning, analysis and designing of a multi storeyed building

manually as well as using computer aided applications like Auto Cad, Staad Pro and E tabs.

The initialization of the project was done by formulating a plan of the plot, estimation of the entire structure, followed by

analysis which involved consideration of various loading patterns(such as dead,live, wind, seismic, etc) which was succeeded

by designing of structural members.

The shape and desired prospect of the building was taken into account while designing the building.

The complete design of the structure includes the determination of form of structure, appropriate materials to be used,

structural systems, layout of its components, methods of structural analysis and design.
