EXPERIENCES IN NEWSPAPERS
Wrote many news stories during my journalistic career in different
national dailies of the country. Prepared many stories on economy and
finance, business and trade, banking, export and import interviewing
ministers, business leaders, economists and senior government
officials. Interviewed many politicians, academics, ambassadors and
diplomats including former British High Commissioner to Bangladesh HE

America and the Bangladesh Centre for Development Journalism and
Communication held in Dhaka in October 1996.
c) Participated in a training course on 'In-Depth Reporting,'

American Centre) in Dhaka and the Press Institute of Bangladesh, held

d) Received Transparency International (Bangladesh Chapter) Award in
1999 for writing a series of reports on Jamuna Bridge, now Bangabandhu
Bridge. The Jamuna Bridge project was built under the assistance of
the World Bank, ADB and Japan government.

i) Visited Japan under the Fellowship of Foreign Press Centre
Foundation, Tokyo, Japan and interviewed senior officials there at
Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, JICA Headquarters, JBIC, Toyota,

iii) Visited Indonesia and UAE extensively with Bangladesh business
