PROJECT: T-Mobile Fault Management

ROLE: Support Engineer

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Fault management is a monitoring project for T-Mobile in which the

applications and server states of the Tibco services are monitored

continuously. It has Problem solving to customers, Maintenance of

performance being indicated by Remedy Ticket. Handles production support

for deployment and solving of issue with less time.

Provides overview of issue to Other teams and Development team if it

persists there.

Maintenance of servers is handled as per daily change or enhancements or

new release and work solution is given to specific issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitoring BSM for failures and Latency.

Monitoring ELF Dashboard and IAP Log for reporting failures.

Monitoring the EMS server Health check and purge the queue if the storage

size exceeded.

Monitoring and Maintaining the Teradata and refresh in scheduled time.

Monitoring the ROCS Console for activation of the day.

Monitoring the Siebel adapter and restart if the threshold value is

reached.

Tracking Remedy Ticket closure performance daily, monthly and yearly.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Wi-Fi Calling Over SIP/IMS is a capability incrementing service to improve

the customer reception and satisfaction by allowing the customers easy to

use the Wi-Fi connection to connect to a network and to make calls over

the SIP/IMS Platform.

Provide a superior Voice and Messaging experience using the SIP/IMS

platform over Wi-Fi by replacing GAN-Lite and UMA with SIP/IMS as the

underlying technology for Wi-Fi calling, thus providing a lower cost and

longer term solution. It provides modification of services and

enhancements of it.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Requirement gathering, Analysis and Design.

Developing backend processes to perform insert, delete, update and search

operations in TIBCO BW.

Overview of code with version control.

Deploying and testing the application.

Avail testing in testing environment.
