Job Description:

Responsible for selecting equities for UK & Ireland element of company's

international division's portfolios to outperform a specified benchmark.

Duties include: meet with company management to discuss strategy, market

expectations, & general industry outlook; review internal quantitative

output & its suggested portfolio holdings & review divergence from

quantitative models; share investment ideas with rest of team & discuss

outlook for individual companies & industries & offer insights on UK & Irish

economies; meet with clients to explain portfolio holdings, investment

performance & investment philosophy; meet with external company

representatives & sell side analysts & liaise with investment managers in

London office regarding portfolio holdings; meet regularly with sell side

institutions to elicit investment ideas & obtain research on companies &

industries; frequently review annual reports to seek investment ideas;

monitor company announcements such as results & trading statements, related

to portfolio holdings; liaise regularly with traders to discuss buys & sells

within portfolio & trading strategy; write reports on portfolio performance

highlighting performance & rational behind portfolio structure.

Requires 25% travel to include international travel primarily to the U.K.

and Ireland.

5 day, 40 hour work week, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

7 years experience in the investment industry to include the following: 5

years experience reviewing financial accounts & valuing companies; 3 years

experience as portfolio manager working with UK based equities including

specific experience running a UK small cap equity portfolio; must also have

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) professional designation.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Law.
