transform the system data into an information tool that drives decision

including consolidated reports from data stored in over 50 different

operations systems for DCS business leaders and key decision-makers

throughout North and South America.

ii) MBC Commercial Vehicle MORIS - Data Mart Project

There are two main reasons that Truck Finance (TF) Mercedes-Benz Credit

Data Warehouse (MBCDW) MORIS (Management Operational Reporting Intranet

Solution) Conversion Project was undertaken. The first reason is a direct

result of the Info Lease implementation project currently underway and is

further explained below. The second reason is that the MORIS reports were

created using a non-standard reporting tool that will create licensing,

deployment, and resource issues when considered for widespread corporate

use.

iii) Dealer Profitability - Truck Finance - Data Mart Project

The objectives of the business areas are identified in order to ensure that

the requirements defined by the analysis effort are consistent with

management's overall business strategy.

Develop a process for operations management to better analyze the

profitability of there Portfolios Use to enhance management's ability to

price business profitability from a different perspective, allow management

to identify top sales performers.

iv) Optiload Conversion - Data Warehouse Project

Since its evolution in DCS organization, the DaimlerChrysler's Strategic

Data Warehouse grew exponentially. There are numerous tables and data-

feeding sources into the Data Warehouse .Optiload replacement project are

to replace the current Production Optiload jobs with Informatica Power

Center / PowerConnect (Striva) tools.
