I am Mechanical engineer with 8.3 years experience in Oil & Gas pipeline

Construction Projects as a Mechanical Engineer and involved in all

activities such as (Stringing, Trenching, Welding, Radiography, HDD, Hydro

testing, Valve Installation, and Valve Testing etc.) and familiar with a

lot of international code and standards; ASME B31, ASME II-C, ASME V, ASME

IX, API 1104, handling of all pipeline testing operation and inspection,

prepare PQR and WPS, welder qualification test, handling of material,

preparation of ITP as per project specification, coordinating with client,

third party, subcontractors & consultant. Earlier I worked for oil & gas

projects in India and presently I am working in India with Punj Lloyd

Limited and my current Project is MCPL-Myanmar China Oil and Gas pipeline

Job Responsibilities:

. Involved in all activities of Steel Pipeline construction work such

as (Trenching, Welding, Radiography, HDD, Hydro testing, Valve

Installation, and Valve Testing etc.).

. Involved in laying, testing and commissioning of underground natural

gas Steel pipeline.

. Supervised teams of pipefitters, welding and other construction work

of the pipeline.

. Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification

Record (PQR) as per specifications and standards for different

materials as per ASME SEC IX.

. Witnessed the Welder Qualification Test as per ASME SEC IX and review

NDT reports as per ASME SEC V.

. To control pipeline welding inspection activities according to API

1104.

. Supervise PQR, review NDT report, and review all welders'

certificates.

. Witnessing PQR, WQT, visual inspection, verifies

collaboration/linearity of fit-up, production weld/repairs.

. Perform site Quality activities in accordance with project plan.

. Verification/monitor welding procedure in compliance to approved

code/witness PQR, WQT, Check and ensure welder's qualification test

. Surveillance/control of welding material to be used.

. Check and monitor the site activities in accordance to project quality

plan and specification.

. Monitor fit-up, installation of piping work and visual inspection

. Work with lead quality Inspectors to address project Inspection

requirements.

. Implement quality surveillance and inspection activities at the

construction site.

. Keep lead quality Inspector update with actions and quality issues.

. Monitoring the welder performance and taking the necessary action.

. Planning for the deployment of fitters & welders as per

the project schedule.

. Co-ordination for NDT Clearance with QC Dept, before lowering for

underground pipeline works.

. Performing the field coating of weld joints using Heat shrink sleeves.

. Co-ordination with QC department for Welder Qualification, Procedure

Qualification as per project requirement, Stage wise inspection as per

Inspection Test Plan.

. Material handling and documentation as per clients drawing.

. Preparation, implementation, monitoring, revision and updating of the

Supplier's Contract Quality Plan.

. Preparing Measurement Sheet and "As Built" Drawings of the Laid

Pipeline including Daily Progress Reporting & Recording

. Participating in Route Survey with Client.

. Monitoring Sub-Contractor's Quality Systems and quality performance.

. Overall control, supervision and implementation of Contract quality

and technical requirements resolution of quality problems preparation

and maintenance of Contract quality records

. Preparation with Contractor of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Work Plan &

Reports of Testing, Pre -Commissioning and Commissioning Reports give

input in planning activities of the project
