Results driven Technical Operations / Engineering Program Manager with a

Technical/Engineering Manager

Reporting to the Director of Technology/Product Development, my duties

include the design and development of new products for the North American

market. This includes the management of up to 12 direct report Systems

Engineers and Software Developers. I manage the Engineering Department

budget, insuring we are within plan and on target for our financial goals.

I interface with multiple support groups including Technical Maintenance,

Construction, Systems Installation and Field Support staff. Lead multiple

DFSS/LEAN project teams chartered to reduce cost and improve process

performance.

Working with internal and external customers I coordinate resources to

insure projects are completed on time and on budget.

Program Manager, New Product Introduction

Reporting to the Director of Integrated Supply, Manage the RoHS Product

Transition and redesign program. Create and direct team of Engineers and

Manufacturing support personnel. As Program Manager I led a cross

functional team of Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing Services, and

Manufacturing Support resources in Europe, Asia, Mexico and the US. I am an

experienced Program Mgr. With M/S Office (word, excel, Project, SharePoint)

Oracle, SAP, eProjects, BARTA and various other custom tools. I am DFSS

Certified, LEAN trained.

Commercial Electronic Systems

Manager, Electrical Computer Aided Design 1998 - 2005

Reporting to the AT Design Engineering Director, led an organization of up

to 46 staff with a budget of $35M in Production Design and New Product

Development Design support, and Engineering Process Development. As

Manager of Design Engineering, led cross-functional teams responsible for

$200K+ LEAN initiatives, department staffing and budget management AOP

(P&L), and development of global resources.

1998 - 2005

Design Engineering/Document Control

Design Engineering Technical Manger responsibilities include 30+ Engineers,

Technical Support staff, Business Admins, and Direct Labor support staff.

On and offshore technical staff, and Annual Operating Plan (Profit & Loss)

accountability.

Selected to lead a cross-functional team chartered to create and implement

Rapid Prototype processes for Electrical and Mechanical Engineering designs

(EEUs). Team met design objectives and organizational deliverables for the

creation of the process and the development of suppliers to support the

Rapid Prototype process used at AT- Phoenix and DSES-Glendale, resulting in

dramatically improved cycle time and cost reductions.

Program managed Electrical Design team LEAN initiative to redesign the ECAD

process, reducing waste and redundancies. Working with CAE and other

focused resources, improved the ECAD process by the application of DFSS

tools. This process resulted in annual savings of $100K+.

Led the ECAD team in the documentation of the Electrical Design processes

used at Deer Valley. Created work instructions (ins/inf's) detailing each

ECAD process and the required Engineering Information (EI) checklist.

Selected to lead the combined ECAD-MCAD organization chartered to support

the B777

Central Technical Operations

Technical Manager, Microelectronics Systems 1988 - 1998

Engineering Technical Lead

Reporting to the Director of Central Technical Operations, led a team of

Engineers and Technicians (direct and indirect reports) in the development

and manufacturing of Microelectronics products and Printed Wiring Boards

used by Honeywell. Key member of the Microelectronics Business Team

supporting a business unit of up to 60 employees with annual revenues of

$30M; contributed to team achieving all business goals and received

individual award for successes.
