I am very interested in this position and appreciate the opportunity. Currently an Assistant Manager Supervisor, I feel that I have an upper hand because I am acquainted with the many facets of the billing world and revenue cycle.

I have a total of 15 years experience in the billing field starting from 1998 and I am very proud to share that after almost 9.5 years of service with the UCSF, I feel this company will benefit from what I have to offer.

I started my first 5 years working in the UC system for a vendor, as a representative for the Department of Medicine. I have continued to excel and I have strived to streamline processes and policies that promote efficiency and meet billing needs; from the front-end, including visit management, case management, charge generation, and how edits help to contribute to correct billing and increase timely payments. With my backend experience, I know I can make a difference and many ideas to increase revenue. I am very excited about this opportunity.

I directly report to the Associate Director of Operations and update on all issues with solutions resolved\unresolved including tracking status of issues. I manage/maintain employee workflow for all payers, implement new procedures to be efficient; coordinate and manage projects on a daily/weekly basis. reserch and present production standards. Also constantly analyze issues as they arise and have to make decisions on the fly and when to escalate. Also, I am an active certified CPC Professional Coder as of November of 2009.

I have an understanding about the constant changes and demands from all types of payers for their billing needs. With all of the constant changes in the healthcare field, I feel that I attain the flexibility and qualities that this company is looking for. I work very well with others, and can multi-task to meet deadlines.

I am aware of the extreme demands that take place in the daily/monthly and yearly functions for all phases of the revenue/billing cycle. I am very detail oriented and a great troubleshooter; using all resources for gathering and planning to promote efficiency. I feel that this would be a great opportunity to further my career.
