V TAM IRANKHODRO (TAM) Company is a fully owned private subsidiary
belonging to the publicly owned IRANKHODRO industrial group. TAM was
founded in 1997 as an EPC company with the aim of providing innovative
engineering services and solutions through effective and efficient use of
science, modern technology, and advanced automation tools. Company has
diversified into various fields and multi-disciplined industries such as
railway industry.
V Recently the company has won a tender concerning construction of
Kermanshah monorail project the biggest monorail project in the country.
Scope of supply includes design, supply and carry out all segments of the
project like trains, electrical and mechanical equipment, and civil
structure of the route, track switches, stations and depot, parking,
Halls such as Entrance, Ticket hall and platforms, Administrative places,
Security, employee's room, first aid room under an EPC (Engineering,
Procurement and Construction) contract. Kermanshah monorail is 13.5km
long and has 13 stations. It will be equipped with 14 four-wagon trains
and will carry 16 thousand passengers per hour. The project has been
supervised by Systra Company which is a French Consultant
(www.systra.com) in metro and monorail working in most places/projects
worldwide.
V As a Senior Civil and railway Engineer, my responsibilities are confined
to construction engineering, Site Investigation and co-ordination of
Geotechnical Consultants, surveying subcontractors and Site Technical
office, Interface management with Civil Works partners, Management and
Planning of materials and equipments needed to prepare projects based on
cost, quality and schedule, Determine appropriate construction methods as
per technical specifications of project, Close coordination and meetings
with design team in regard to hazardous site conditions. Management of
civil contractors to be confident that the work is being done according
to approved documents/drawings and procedures, coordinating with Site
Contractors. As significant proportion of the construction work in this
project is related to the prefabricated and precast concrete
construction, Technical issues such as the substructure consists of cast
in place piles with cast in-situ pile caps, Piers and Pier Caps and
superstructure consist of monorail guideway beam as a unique element
which means that the beams have to be formed to suit the final alignment
geometry, including both vertical and horizontal curves, gradients,
transition curves and super elevation and Precast Factory design and
fabrication, Construction inspection and consultation with client at the
direction of the manager, Project administration duties and general
duties as assigned by the manager.

V Iran Marine industrial company (Sadra) started its operation in 1968 in
south of Iran (Bushehr) with the goal of ship building and ship repair.
Nowadays more than 40 years Sadra expanded its operation to the offshore
industries in three main filed of construction and repair of different
vessels, construction of various oil and gas platforms and execution of
infrastructure projects and in detail, Offshore oil & gas construction &
installation, Construction of mobile offshore drilling platforms, Onshore
oil, gas & petrochemical construction, Construction of ports & harbors,
Construction of oil terminals & jetties, Installation & repair of sub-sea
pipelines, Sub-sea cable laying, Infrastructural Projects, Design &
engineering services for above activities.
V Sadra Involved in an offshore bridge project which is the largest one in
Iran as Urmieh lake Causeway Bridge in North West of Iran. The Project is
including 33 kilometers/12000 tons of high strength friction piles
(mostly 32" with wall thickness of 14.3, 22.2 & 38.1mm) driven down
85meters into the lake bed, 16000 tons of steel plates (6~80mm thickness)
for the superstructure (14700tons for Viaduct Bridge both for Highway and
Railway high strength steel girders and 1300 tons for Arch Bridge) and
55000 cubic meters of C55/C35 concrete for substructure and
superstructure composite deck. The project has also designed with pre-
tensioned post-stressed method for superstructure elements in Approach
Bridge and Waterway Bridge. The Main Bridge including Approach Bridges,
Transition Bridges, Viaduct Bridges and Arch Bridge is 1710meters length
and the Waterway Bridge is 500 meters. As the contract of the project is
EPC form (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and full
responsibility of the project is up to the contractor (SADRA), all
investigations has been done by SADRA and his consultants such as Aas-
Jakobsen Company (Structural designer, from Norway), (www.aaj.no), NGI
(Norwegian Geotechnical Institute from Norway), (www.ngi.no), FUGRO
(Italian Company for Geophysics studying), (www.fugro-uae.com), Jan De
Nul Company regards to dredging and marine works (www.jandenul.com). The
project has been supervised by COWI Company which is a Danish Consultant
(www.cowi.com) in Bridges working in most places/projects in the world
wide.
V As an Engineering Manager of project, Head of the groups in the
engineering department for preparing of Calculations and Design reports,
Method Statements, Work Procedures of the Project under the ISO standard
codes for preparation systematic numbering and issuing of the
construction site engineering documents and drawings.
