Technical Expertise

NATURE OF JOB - OPERATION

> Efficient & safe operation of CFBC & Turbine (Cold, Hot & Warm start

up) as a shift Engineer for 2 X150 MW Power Plant.

> Process control of power plant through DCS (ABB).

> Preparation of Daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.

> Supervision of a team of skilled technicians, operators and fitters.

> Maintaining stack emission within limits as per the norms decided by

pollution control board

> Doing Commissioning of Boiler i.e. Steam blowing, Refractory Dry out,

Alkaiki Boil out, Hydro test.

> Ensuring the system running as per ISO 9002 recommendations for

minimum auxiliary power consumption.

> Monitoring the water quality of the DM water to minimize the makeup

water so for as designed.

> Monitoring the running and stand by equipment.

> Accounting for plant operation and Troubleshooting.

> Capable of normalizing the system in case of plant trip & other

emergencies.

< Involved in Turbine commissioning activities like Turbine lube oil

line flushing, Barring Gear, Commissioning of Pumps like Boiler Feed

Pump, Condensate Extraction Pump (CEP), and HP & LP Heaters.

< Knowledge of 700 TPH coal handling plant Stacker cum reclaimer, double

roller crusher, Vibrating & Omni screen, Belt feeders, magnetic

separator, bunker, truck tripper, vibrating feeder.

< Managing site working team during shift.

< Daily reporting to Operation Manager and for the daily job activities,

backlogs, and next days plan etc.

Estimation of materials, planning & arranging for resources like

equipments, manpower etc for the thermal power plant. Preparing shut-
