Over 36 years experience in industry. 16 years as a Process Control
Technologist. 14 years as an Industrial Electrician. Five years as an
Operator. All of the previously mentioned experiences were with Dow
Chemical Co. / SC Johnson in Bay City Michigan and most were in the Ziploc(
Bag plants. I retired from SC Johnson in May, 2011 at age 57.

Associate in Applied Science in Skilled Trades, Electrical, with over 95
credits and a 3.28 GPA.

MY JOB SKILLS SUMMARY:
Was an electrician with a Michigan class 3 electrician license (No. 11023).
Install, maintain and trouble shoot all control circuits up to and
including 480 volt. Install, maintain and trouble shoot AC and DC drives.
Assist in control system design for computer-controlled machinery. Capable
of completing a major process control project with little or no
supervision. Effectively communicate with project teams or manufacturing
personnel to define process control requirements. Communication with the
Technology Center and with the Process Control Team Leader as necessary to
assure consistency of process control hardware and software. Provide
support and training for less-experienced programmers who do not know the
process or programming languages as well. Setup programming computers and
plant floor HMI computers. Assures that computers have the most updated
process control software and also insures that the operating system is set
up efficiently to maximize reliability. Have a very high mechanical
aptitude and can fix almost anything.
I have worked on multi million dollar projects, including new plants, new
lines and line upgrades. I have programmed extrusion heat controls; film
lines with tension and draw; driflow systems; bag sealing equipment;
packaging equipment including casers, closers and formers; warehouse
systems including conveyors and palletizes; and many other types of
industrial equipment.
