structure steel detailing, and thirteen years in mechanical designing for

2011- HC Piper Manufacturing INC, Calgary

. Built 3D steel structure building models with Tekla Structures to

support pump, mixer, pipe and other equipment in oil sand industry,

and then created, edited and checked erection diagrams, assembly and

single-part drawings, while designing some projects with

CADWorx/Autocad. Communicated and coordinated with engineers and

contractors to purchase them to provide more details in compliance

with their requirements. Did lots of projects, such as Snamprogetti

CNRL Horizon Substation, Syncrude MFT Plant (Consisting of

Centrifuge, Pre-treatment, Pipe corridor, tank farm building) which

including skids, super structure and misc.

2005-2011 Domoslai Designs LTD, Calgary

. By using Tekla Structures, built 3D models of the steel structure

with connections while specifying the layout of structural elements

on structural & architectural drawings. Created and edit erection

diagrams, assembly and single-part drawings. Prepared material lists

and bolt lists. Did high rises, commercial developments, oil/sand

industry buildings, stadiums, hospitals and schools independently or

in collaboration with other colleagues, and communicated with

engineers/ contractors for design details. Such as Suncor Voyageur

Upgrader, Stoney Warehouses, Airdrie Wal-mart, West Calgary High

School, Foothill Medical Center, Jamison Place Office, and Canadian

Sports Hall, etc. These projects consisted of piling, concrete,

columns, beams, braces, girts, parapets, canopies, stairs, handrails,

ladders, trusses, joists, base plates, anchor bolts, and other

frames.

Mechanical/Structure Designer

1996-2005 Sichuan Research & Development Institute of CAD/CAM, Chengdu,

China

. Checked/designed the structure part of Well Service Rigs for Shengli

Oilfield of China with SolidWorks as the leader of project. Including

analysis, calculation, 3D-modeling and assembling. Such as support

frames, connection structures, platforms and their braces, etc.

. Checked/designed and calculated tricone rock bits of oil well

drilling with coworkers for Chengdu Petroleum Mechanical Factory as

the leader, which achieved 30% cost savings. Prepared specifications

and detailed drawings of drilling bits and other parts in AutoCAD

with attention to accuracy.

Field Mechanical Technologist

1990-1996 Linpan Oil Extraction Company of Shengli Oilfield, Dongying,

China.

. Installed and tested oilfield well service rigs at well sites.

. Detected and troubleshot irregularities and malfunctions, repaired

defective machinery parts, and fabricated parts as required

independently or with co-workers.
