2012-Present Externship- Internal Medicine,
Providence Hospital, Washington D.C
I was assigned to a Ward team, including junior and senior residents to a general medicine wards, assignment included night call, perform history and physical examination on teaching patients, daily progress notes and follow all the rules and regulations governing house staff care of patients including interaction with the patient’s private physician, respond to nursing staff calls to evaluate patients including night and weekend call, attend all required conferences and teaching rounds and complete reading assignments as assigned by senior residents, teaching attending physician or program director.

2011-2012 CEP- Inova Loudoun Hospital
I performed as Patient Flow Assistant under direct supervision of ER physicians to coordinate and facilitate all the aspects of Patients care.to decrease the length of stay of the patients.

2009-2010 Chantilly Specialists Ltd of Virginia

I Performed as Clinical Manager under the Supervision of Dr. Carol Currier, managing the flow of the patients and address patient's need at their specific situation under supervision, Performed initial evaluation noting specific indications presented during History taking. Performed many procedure under supervision, did preliminary review of patients medication making inquiry as to status of patient Progress under current medication management plan, noting patient comments and remarks per request reviewed every visit note from mid-level providers. I performed preliminary review of patient’s medical records from referring physicians. Staff supervision /Review visit notes that were done by Mid-level providers/ preparing new policies and procedures to facilitate every single visit.

2007-2008 VA Cancer care Inc.

I performed the functions of Physician Assistant in Virginia Cancer Care Clinic under direct supervision of Ravneet Grewal M.D. Participated as First Assist in office-based procedures, among which included bone marrow biopsy. Coordinated Medical record coding and assisted the administrative staff to abstract the proper ICD-Diagnosis codes and CPT procedure codes to facilitate and ensure accurate billing. I was the contact person to obtain Pre-Authorization for any procedure and medications.

I performed as Medical Assistant and Physician assistant. As coordinators in many oncology studies trials Phase 2 and 3 for Neulasta, Aranesp, Procrit, and also many combination Treatment study for several different types of cancer.

As solo General Practitioner and Family Medicine Practitioner Primary care physician for solo practice, Responsible for the diagnosis, treatment of diseases including but not limited to Diabetes, Hypertension etc... and referrals for all of the patients, Handle daily paperwork, including patient treatment forms, Database management and management of Translation from English to Farsi and vice versa for many Medical and Non-Medical texts and magazines Translation from English to Farsi and vice versa for many Medical and Non-Medical texts as needed basis for patients and also gathering all new medical articles to inform patients with new medical and socioeconomic improvement around the world to be able to change their lifestyle. I have the belief that if anyone can be informed properly, then the results will be outstanding. This motivated me to plan many new protocols in my office to be able to properly handle patients and the staff to have good and professional communications to reach the goal of the plan with follow up by any way of communications. This made all the patients and staff very motivated and automatically involved them in their care plan. Patients were satisfied and the staffs were happy to make a big change in the community.

1994-1996 Iranian Health Network

I Provided community based medicine and Emergency Services as a General Practitioner in rural area promoting preventive medicine with direct contact with people in rural area.
-- As chief ER physician was involved in many aspects of ER and hospital departments to improve their usage of several different devices, making and executing plans to reach highest level of efficiency and accuracy based on allowable budget. This Hospital compare to USA trauma centers was the third level of trauma center.

-- Making protocols for every procedure and process and re-evaluate them in proper interval.
