SUMMARY OF WORK EXPERIENCE & MAINTENANCE

Work involved:

• Replace the conventional control system and field pneumatic instrumentation with new foundation field bus (FF) control system at Offshore Zuluf GOSP 2 in Saudi Aramco. Process instrument covered duties including DCS technician, install system cable I/O triconex control system, pre-commissioning, loop checking I/O’s types, DI/DO,AI/AO, open loop, closed loop, cascaded loop, composite loop and ospas loop. To verify I/O types points are configured and implemented as per the Instrument Database. A printout from an IDB query will be used to verify the configured DI points under test.

• Maintenance and overhauling of various instruments, pressure transmitter, flow transmitter, control valves, level transmitter, temperature transmitter, level switch, pressure switch, process automation, analyzer/analytical instrumentation & ect.

• lead instrument & control technician and handled more than 7,000 instruments bench calibration in workshop such as electronics & pneumatic signal, pressure, température, level, flow, vibration element, proximitor sensor, analyzer oxygen, pH, conductivity meters, various types of motor operated valves. toxic gas, LEL (low explosive limit) & H2S (hydrogine sulfide), gas detectors, actuator such as diaphragm, piston, cylinder, vane & paddle.

• Repairing and calibration of smart instrument devices with HART/FF fieldbus compatibility, electronic, pneumatic instruments

• Involving in Day-to-day preventive maintenance for field instruments, individual inspection, calibration, loop simulation as per standard procédures.

• Effective corrective maintenance at breakdown period in PESD system, loop logic and replacement of I/O modules.

• Coordination with operation, preparing the equipments for maintenance and returning to safe service

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of various field instruments related to boiler management system, Bentley nevada vibration and temperature monitoring system.

• Carrying out periodic check of trip loops and status confirmation alarm simulation and verification in DCS.
