This crucial role, based in Queensland, plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our well-established site.

Collaborating closely with the wider team and under the direction of the CHPP Manager, you'll supervise daily operations to meet commercial standards safely.

What does this role involve?

Embed a safety-first culture where all employees are empowered through setting and maintaining clearly safety standards.

Ensure plant operation provides optimum performance in relation to throughput, recovery and operating costs.

Planning and coordinating activities at site, including supporting the maintenance and operational areas.

Resolve operational and maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve the operation and the condition of site equipment and machinery.

Build capability through coaching, mentoring and providing technical advice to the site team.

Timely data collation, analysis and sharing of key work management metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.

Lead and support continuous improvement opportunities for production, quality control, maintenance and operational nonconformities.

What are we looking for in our future team member?

As a minimum a trade certificate or degree qualified (engineering) working in the minerals process industry.

Previous senior experience directly supervising operations and/or maintenance employees.

A strong safety focus and excellent leadership, project management, time management and negotiation skills.
