Who We Need:

Due to growth, we are searching for a Director of Product to join the team. In the role of Director of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction, vision, and execution of a global product, ReadyRemit. We are looking for someone with the right blend of technical expertise, market insight, and leadership capabilities to lead the team on this quickly growing product.

**This is a REMOTE position, based in the U.S. Some travel will be required.** Eligible states of residence: AL, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MD, ME, PA, TX, WI

What You’ll Do:

Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy in alignment with Brightwell’s overall mission, vision, and goals.

Define and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring it is aligned with the product strategy, client needs, and market opportunities, continually adjusting to changing dynamics and priorities.

Manage the product lifecycle from conception through development, launch, and ongoing enhancements.

Define, track, and report on key product performance metrics, analyzing data to make data-driven decisions.

Optimize product development processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards.

Stay on top of emerging market trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscapes to make informed decisions.

Collaborate with engineering, product design, marketing, compliance, and other teams to ensure successful product development and launch.

Work closely with Product leadership to develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts.

Drive financial goals, monitor product profitability, and ensure alignment with business objectives and budgets.

Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation within the product team and drive the development of new features to meet customer needs and business objectives.

Provide guidance and direction to team members, empowering them to meet product development goals and objectives.

Face any additional challenges or projects head-on, as needed.

As a Director of Product, you have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field.

8+ years of proven experience in product management and product leadership.

3+ years in a leadership or managerial role in product management.

Demonstrated success in building and launching FinTech products.

Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and developing high-performing product teams.

Solid understanding of financial services, products, and markets, with the ability to drive financial goals for products.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with business users, technology leaders, and end users at their respective levels.

Proficient in data-driven decision-making and market analysis to guide product development and strategy.

Creative mindset with a demonstrated ability to think innovatively and propose novel solutions to problems.

Deep understanding of customer-centric product development and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences through products.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 20%).
