Job Requirements:

Education and/or Experience: High-School diploma or equivalent. Special courses in electricity, electrical wiring

Language Skills: N/A

Mathematical Skills: Average.

Reasoning Ability: Average.

Job Description:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for performing all functions and operations necessary to build or repair Panel Assemblies, inductors, brazed components, buss work, and sub-assemblies (electrical and mechanical), water system, and fixture assemblies.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

Build electrical and electronic assemblies.

Cut, thread, drill, and etc. plates, shapes, bars, pipe, etc. of either metal or non-metallic materials.

Insulate, tape, clean and paint sub-assemblies and complete assemblies as requires.

Layout, prepare, and assemble all mechanical and electrical components into cabinets and panels in accordance with drawings and shop practices and procedures.

Perform cutouts on cabinets as required.

Interconnect and wire all components in accordance with schematics, engineering orders, and shop practices and procedures.

Must read and interpret schematics, blueprints.

Must perform minor maintenance and clean-up on machines as required.

Move materials with hand trucks, fork lift trucks and cranes as required.

Maintain a clean and safe working area.

Must observe all safety regulations. May be required to perform various other functions or duties as directed by supervisor.

Has demonstrated ability to train all new employees.

Ability to use hand tools, Power tools, hydraulic knockouts etc.

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 70pds

Basic tools required.
