Systems Engineer

Job Description

Summary: Seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in analyzing system/subsystem specifications for modifications to hardware and software, particularly related to ground-based navigational aids and non-radar surveillance systems.

Responsibilities:

Analyze system/subsystem specification (SSS) requirements to determine modifications to hardware and software.

Participate in all stages of product lifecycle from customer requirement capture through development.

Work on ground-based navigational aids (NAVAIDS) and non-radar surveillance systems.

Maintain specification, design, implementation, integration, and testing of Navaid products.

Support configuration management activities for design qualification testing.

Contribute to system-level integration in terms of requirements and execution of hardware and software integration.

Participate in peer reviews of system requirements.

Participate in the integration of software and hardware.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in systems, electrical, or software engineering.

5+ years of experience in using tracking software such as Jira.

Proficiency in using requirement management tools like DOORS.

Ability to read and update schematics.

Some mechanical knowledge, AutoCAD experience.

Experience with DOD and/or FAA programs.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $53.00 PER HOUR
