Job Description

Summary: Seeking a Designer with advanced AutoCAD skills for a 6-month contract, focusing on mechanical design, drafting, and industrial equipment support.

Job Requirements:

Advanced AutoCAD user

Strong background in mechanical design and drafting

Experience with industrial equipment

Proficiency in taking and documenting field measurements on the shop floor

Strong attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

Experience with general arrangement drawings of industrial plant layouts and capital equipment design and drafting

Experience creating drawings from field measurements

Project management experience

Job Responsibilities:

Work under the direction of a Lead Engineer to support installation and start-up of large, complex industrial process equipment

Take field measurements and create equipment drawings to accurately document existing systems

Make changes to red-lined mechanical and electrical (schematics) drawings using AutoCAD (2D)

Assist the Lead Engineer with various engineering and project management tasks

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
