The Room Service Ambassador is responsible for serving the completed trays to the patients in a professional and efficient manner, instructing the patient on meal ordering system, assisting patient in placing meal orders if needed and keeping the nursing unit floor pantry stocked.

Responsibilities

Serves meals to patients in a professional and efficient manner.? Assists patients and/or family members in placing meal orders.

Completes orders of bulk floor supplies on nursing units.? Retrieves completed meals from patients? rooms in a timely manner.

Checks all meals for accuracy and adherence to appropriate diet orders.? Works positions on tray assembly line.

Follows proper food handling techniques according to HACCP and local agencies.

Qualifications

Education Requirement:High School Graduate or equivalent, required.

Skills:

Ability to read, measure accurately and perform basic math skills.

Ability to communicate to others in a clear concise manner.
