Job Description
We are looking for an Accounting and Loan Servicing Associate to join our accounting team in executing on reconciliations and customer data entry processes. We are looking for someone with an intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel experience and a background in customer relations.
This job will include:
Responsible for management of loan data, including payment schedules and collections data
Create and reconcile loan-related ledger entries
Setup participations and waterfalls and manage monthly distributions
Check and reconcile loan balances and enter adjusting entries
Provide weekly collections reporting to management
Identify overpayments and interest refunds due
Set up and process bank ACH payments
Required Qualifications:
Experience in loan servicing or accounting, monthly reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
Highly Proficient in MS Excel, including advanced functions and power query.
Must possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills, be detailed oriented with a commitment to a high level of data integrity and accuracy.
Knowledge of General Ledger balancing, accounting entries, and common banking transactions.
