Monday-Friday

Pay: $16.00-17.00/hr

Job Duties

Operates machine tools according to instructions, specifications.

Studies blueprints, work orders, and other specifications to ensure the proper setup sequence is followed.

Selects, places, and secures tools and fixtures.

Observes each machine to verify quality performance.

Verifies measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers are in proper working order.

Sets and adjusts necessary controls to regulate machines.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Thorough understanding of mechanics and other properties of machines.

Able to run multiple machines simultaneously.

Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Ability to follow proper safety protocols.

Ability to work independently and manage a job from start to finish with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work in noisy environments.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and climb to access all parts of the machine.

Must be able to move quickly in a fast paced environment.

Background Profile

High school diploma/GED

At least 2-5 years of machine operating experience
