About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Divisional Vice President, Business Unit Controller for a division for an excellent company in the metals industry. As an integral part of the leadership team, the Business Unit Controller will spearhead the development and execution of the annual strategic plan. This role is pivotal in managing and overseeing the financial health of the division, including financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the financial strategy and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all deadlines.

Collaborate with the Business Unit Manager to align financial and overall business strategies.

Manage compliance issues and establish controls for audit and public company regulations.

Present financial strategies and updates to executive leadership.

Foster a collaborative environment across the division to drive business performance and compliance.

Serve as a proactive member of the management team, contributing to financial and operational excellence.

Engage with various departments to influence business actions positively through financial insight.

Drive the development and growth of the finance team, ensuring robust succession planning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

MBA preferred; CPA or related certifications advantageous.

Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing or operational accounting, with a preference for those familiar with the metals industry.

Willingness to travel as needed to support business needs.
