Northwoods continues to grow our Case Aide Services offering. As we continue to scale, we are looking for amazing people to join our team. Northwoods is always looking for people to fill Case Aide Generalist positions. A Case Aide Generalist provides administrative case management support to social work clients with respect to families and children in care.

Requirements (Not kidding, these are real and not negotiable)

Must have some experience and/or education in the social work/human services field. This could be a degree in social work / human services, or a related field, or being enrolled in educational courses for social work / human services. Or this could be experience in Child Welfare or another social services program.

Must be willing to be in office 4 days per week.

Must be authorized to work in the United States. What you'll be doing

Receives and organizes client paperwork per compliance requirements and processing deadlines; monitors ongoing cases by obtaining periodic case update information and updating various systems.

Monitors and prioritizes incoming requests from agency staff; processes and responds to these as tickets, resolving them in a timely manner according to priority.

Performs administrative support for case information and requests, including entering, reviewing, processing, filing, scanning, and uploading, as well as maintaining document repositories (hardcopy and electronic).

Provides supports services to Intake and Ongoing staff through the completion of various activities such as, but not limited to, documentation of home visits, home studies, and placements.

May interact with clients by collecting signatures on forms and occasionally coordinating home visits.

May attend supervisory, unit, department, and agency meetings and participates accordingly.

Responds to case- and client-related inquiries and requests for information from staff.

Prepares reports, letters, and emails as needed and monitors email, text, and phone for the caseworker.

Assists with channeling inquiries to other child welfare caseworkers already actively involved with the family.

Disseminates information in response to requests for information and requests from governmental or private entities, while protecting client and case confidentiality.

Assists with information gathering for case management staff to determine the need for a variety of social services.

Demonstrated success working in an environment that requires multitasking and ability to adjust rapidly to change

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Self-motivated and demonstrated resourcefulness

Able to manage multiple customer relationships remotely

Able to handle confidential information with discretion

Able to establish and maintain good working relationships with team members, clients, and other staff

Able to work effectively with clients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds where English may be their second language

Able to work remotely and maintain a private environment in which to discuss confidential matters

Proficient with computer-related equipment, including standard MS Office applications and video/teleconferencing platforms
