Position Overview and Duties

At Sentral, we are building a team of people-first focused individuals who thrive on going above and beyond. The Bartender is in charge of managing drink orders at a bar and restaurant or private event to keep guests and residents satisfied during meals +/or social gatherings. Bartenders have extensive knowledge of common drinks which they use to recommend drinks to guests and residents, prepare cocktails, pour beers and properly decant wines. Bartenders also entertain guests and residents who sit at the bar by providing stimulating conversation and excellent customer service while filling drink orders for other guests and residents. Their role is to ensure that guests and residents are of legal drinking age and then prepare a requested drink to their specifications.

This is an in-person position located in San Francisco, CA and may require travel to other cities across the US as needed, including the East Coast.

Job Description and Duties

The primary responsibility of the Regional Director of Building Services is to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency in all aspects of the building services operations within the Sentral portfolio, including but not limited to traveling to sites out of state, planning, scheduling, inspecting, technical assistance, monitoring, in depth reporting to Corporate Director of Building Services.

Team Building:

Assist with training building services teams

Coach and mentor the building services teams with a hands-on approach to include coaching, mentoring, providing support on mechanical, technical, resident and guest issues

Required to be a part of a broader team and will be expected to present ideas and solutions during planning sessions with Corporate Director of Building Services

Support implementation of maintenance initiatives Technical:

Must understand and be able to use plant drawings, including architectural, mechanical, and O&M manuals

Be able to identify building defects and propose and oversee suitable solutions

Oversee implementation of routine projects including on-site assistance and running a building services team if needed

Familiarity with Entrata, smartsheets, Quip, and other operating software required by Sentral

Ensure that property inspections are completed, exterior, interior and equipment

Maintain Inventory control

General maintenance is being performed in accordance with Sentral standard operating procedures and manufacturer requirements

Provide technical assistance on any and all maintenance related items

Assist with asset acquisitions and transitions as needed

Must be available to assist with "on-call" as needed via phone call or on-site if assisting property if beyond director of building services knowledge base

Problem solving and creative out of the box solutions Communication:

Work in conjunction with Corporate Director of Building Services and procurement department to optimize negotiated relationships by ensuring that site teams comply with stated contracts as much as possible

Must be able to clearly describe problematic conditions to Corporate Director

Must be able to speak "technically" with contractors, vendors, development and design teams

Must be able to communicate respectfully, concisely, and professionally with co-workers both written and verbally Travel:

National travel required with in the United States based on property needs as they arise, possibly on short notice

Maybe be called to assist with property level operations as efforts to hire ensue

Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time Skills and Experience

At least 7 years related experience in all phases of multi-family and or hospitality engineering with proven multi-site/ area responsibility

Can provide CPO/ EPA completion certificates

Can demonstrate skill set to run building operations as needed

Must have ability to assist, diagnose and troubleshoot technology related items (WiFi, BMS systems, Building access systems, lighting systems, etc.) as well as mechanical issues (Large scale condenser plants, pool/ slab heating systems, Garage exhaust systems) and clearly communicate via phone call if needed Sentral Benefits
