As the Community Troop Organizer, you will be assisting with establishing new troops in the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruiting and supporting girls and adult volunteers to form newly created community-based Girl Scout troops

Coordinating and training troop volunteers to support the delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience

Developing and delivering high-quality Girl Scout experiences to girls, including troop meetings

Developing relationships within the community, and attending community events on behalf of Girl Scouts EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

High school diploma and work experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the job.

Experience working with youth

Experience working with local school systems and community organizations, desirable.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.

Evening and Weekend availability required- up to 19 hours each week BENEFITS
