Overview
In partnership with the Store Manager, the Stockroom Supervisor supports the stores freight process and stockroom organization. The Stockroom Supervisor is responsible and accountable for driving business results through effective freight processing and all incoming merchandise shipments. The Stockroom Supervisor role requires a high level of communication, planning and organization, efficiency and drive for results.
Responsibilities
Participates in the freight unload process for store truck, E-commerce, Buy Online – Pick Up In Store deliveries and assists in leading and directing the team to be experts in the efficiency of freight and stockroom processes
Supports a customer- centric culture that prioritizes an exceptional customer experience and drives results by understanding your role in sales growth and your role contributes to and impacts total store profitability
Takes an active role in training and mentoring the team on established back door to floor merchandise processing principals utilizing appropriate company resources, tools and guidelines
Manage/assist the Ecommerce, Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship To Store (STS) processes
Supports a safe working environment

Qualifications
1-3 years management and /or freight processing experience in a retail environment preferred
Energetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeed
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
Ability to work 30 plus hours per week, based upon the needs of the business needs
Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder to retrieve and stock products on the shelf or to hang overhead banners/product
Frequently positions self to retrieve and stock products in the stock room and sales floor and to place merchandise in bags
Must be able to constantly stand and move around the store for prolonged periods to greet and assist customers
Must be able to frequently communicate with the customers in person, electronically, and telephonically
Must be able to frequently move merchandise that is 50 pounds or more to and from the stock room to sales floor
Must be able to operate a Point of Sale system, registers and hand held devices efficiently and accurately
