The Audiology Aide performs moderately complex administrative duties and supports families and patients with hearing healthcare needs. The Audiology Aide returns phone calls from patients and families, manages new and repaired equipment, assists providers in diagnostic tests, and oversees paperwork.

**Hours: This is a part time role 24 hours per week. Hours can vary from Morning to afternoon shifts. Applicant should have availbility Mon-Fri from 7:00am-5:30pm. Year round**

Responsibilities

• Prepares correspondence, documents, reports, and other materials which may be moderately complex or confidential, sometimes requiring independent judgment.• Assists with diagnostic audiology evaluations (BOA, VRA, CPA).• Troubleshoots and repairs hearing aids and cochlear implants for patients and families with walk-in needs.• Supports the NCH Employee Transport screening program.• Orders and coordinates disbursement of clinical supplies to support supply par levels.Note: Regular, reliable, and consistent attendance is an essential job function. Qualifications

Education Requirement:High School diploma or equivalent, required.Licensure Requirement:Must obtain state licensure within 180 days of hire.Experience:One year clerical experience in medical field, preferred.The above list of duties is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
