General Description/Purpose:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the Great Lakes region, working under the Team Leader (Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage) the primary goal is to maximize sales through direct selling and strategic partnerships with key distributors. You will lead and guide OEMs, engineering firms, and end users to deepen product penetration and capture additional market share.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve sales targets in the assigned territory with both existing and new accounts.

Monitor distributor performance, ensuring effective coverage and recommend changes as needed.

Set annual sales targets and forecasts with distributors and direct accounts.

Promote and sell GEMU product lines, including sanitary stainless-steel products, high purity products, industrial products, and instrumentation/automation lines.

Coordinate with GEMU marketing and sales teams for branding, social media presence, and overall sales effectiveness.

Implement value selling training and concepts with all stakeholders.

Develop and manage OEM accounts in harmony with distributors to foster profitable growth.

Conduct product presentations and participate in industry tradeshows/events.

Travel approximately 60% of the time to build relationships and follow up on opportunities.

Oversee and develop new accounts through distributor networks.

Assist in budgeting, market trend analysis, and competitor analysis.

Coordinate specification work with Product Managers and Team Leader.

Provide regular project updates and submit travel itineraries/schedules.

Contribute to the creation and upgrade of product catalogs and literature.

Essential Knowledge/Skills:

Internet and E-Mail proficiency.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work effectively under pressure.

Strong representation skills for the company with customers, distributors, and suppliers.

Qualification Standards:

Associates/Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

3+ years of experience in Regional Sales Management or Key Account Management in the Pharma, Food and Beverage industries.
