Summary We are currently seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team.

The Sewing Machine Operator will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to sew and produce materials used in the production of prosthetic liners in a proficient manner while maintaining high quality standards.

Job Highlights First shift position, pay range up to 16 per hour + overtime + production bonus Medical benefits, 401k, generous PTO Plan, paid holidays Onsite fitness center, walking path, volleyball and basketball courts Temperature controlled, safe, clean sewing environment company paid food trucks twice a week Responsibilities Capable of sewing both straight stitch and over-lock seams Understand sewing and stitching machine operation and how to adjust or replace all basic mechanical parts Accepting daily assignments from the sewing lead Understand how to read production reports and written work instruction Ability to identify all liner fabric types and color, thickness, size options, thread types and color to ensure proper materials are used Ability to inspect and repair finished product Enter accurate tracking information into Alpha sewing database Perform basic daily maintenance on sewing equipment such as monitoring oil levels, needle position, looper and needle points, thread tension, presser foot and throat plate Perform work duties in the stamping process as directed.

Proficient in placing work-in process in the correct storage bins Essential Skills Required This position requires knowledge of sewing, equipment operation, trouble shooting, basic repairs, data entry, ability to identify quality defects and solutions, and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.

Previous sewing experience of 2-4 years in an industrial or home setting High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred Basic data entry and PC skills preferred Join our team at WillowWood Global and be a part of our mission to make a difference in the lives of individuals with limb loss.
