Commissioning Specialist

Job Description

Summary: Seeking Commissioning Specialists to contribute to production line set-up, including equipment installation and start-up activities in an industrial setting.

Requirements:

AAS/BS Degree in Engineering/Technology (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial)

Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing facility production line set-up and equipment installation projects

Proficient with MS Office tools

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including extensive walking, working on elevated platforms, and confined spaces

Commitment to safety with meticulous attention to detail

Willingness to work overtime, typically between 40-50 hours per week

Preferred Skills:

Over 5 years of experience in Industrial/Manufacturing facility production line set-up, equipment installation & start-up projects

FIELD experience in PROCESS/PRODUCTION equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up

Responsibilities:

Work under the guidance of a Team Lead for process equipment installation, commissioning & start-up activities

Execute HVAC & mechanical utility equipment commissioning tasks for major industrial projects

Collaborate with vendors and skilled tradespeople to identify and resolve field issues with leadership support

Participate in witness testing and checkout activities of contractors

Compose and issue commissioning site visit reports

Communicate effectively with project team members, client representatives, review agencies

Assist in resolving complex problems such as conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination tasks

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
