Roofing Sales Manager
The Roofing Sales Manager will manage a team of salespersons to drive both residential and commercial sales. They will ensure that all monetary and quality sales metrics are met for the company. The manager will serve as the standard and ensure that customer service is at the forefront of every interaction. The manager will coordinate all jobs with other departments to include: production, operations and project management teams to ensure timely and efficient work is completed.
General Responsibilities
Develops sales plans to support the overall company revenue and key metric goals.
Provides leadership, develops teamwork, tactics and strategies with the sales team to support the achievement of annual and monthly sales goals
Interact and work seamlessly with customers, sales team, managers, and all office personnel.
Develop the skill level of the Sales Team by providing training, coaching, and support.
Fully utilize and maintain CRM software (Acculynx) for full job cycle. Ensure CRM information is fully input by sales team, per company standards.
Ensure follow up interviews with leads and prospects to ensure customer service levels are maximized.
Ensure consistent and timely communication between salesperson and customer.
Review material invoices and job costs to identify training opportunities, maximize profitability, and ensure fair and accurate pricing for all involved.
Ensure all material samples and sales literature are current and stocked.
Preferred Experience
5+ plus years of experience in roofing sales industry
Prior sales management and CRM experience
Required Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
