International Buyer

Overview:

We are seeking a full-time International Buyer in our Columbus, OH location. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing strategic purchasing plans as well as international logistics to support the strategic business plans.

Responsibilities:

Develop relationships and manage supply chains with a network of international and domestic suppliers.

SKU creation and maintenance.

Perform troubleshooting on all invoice and price issues along with delivery related problems.

Monitor potential stock out caused by delivery delay etc. and take necessary actions to ensure availability of product.

Conduct financial analysis to meet and exceed cost control targets.

Know and understand market forces driving product line, costs and supply availability.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties while meeting tight deadlines.

Ability to solve problems and resolve issues quickly.

Ability to expedite and adapt to a changing schedule

Communication and coordination with NVO’s and tracking of inbound container shipments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree. Preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or International Business.

Demonstrated experience managing commodities

Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills as well as negotiating, and analytical

Must be positive, detail oriented, organized, team oriented and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment across multiple time zones while effectively meeting deadlines

Minimum 3 years experience in Purchasing, MRP, Procurement, Commodity Management or similar field
