Construction Truck Driver

Pinnacle Metal Products is currently seeking full-time Construction Truck Driver to join our team in Columbus, Ohio.

We are a company that fabricates, delivers, and installs quality stairs, handrails, sculptures, and more!

In this role, you will be responsible for loading your vehicle, accounting for materials, securing loads, and delivering materials safely and efficiently to job sites.

Understands drawings and organizes materials required in an efficient manner.

Works with Shop Management and fellow Supervisors to achieve desired results.

Communicates with the Field Supervisor to coordinate deliveries to the Field Crews.

Loads and stages material properly.

Has a CDL license; abides by all safety rules and uses all equipment in a safe manner.

Performs pre-trip inspections on vehicle and does basic maintenance on vehicle as required.

Maintains work areas, including vehicle, in a clean and orderly fashion.

Licensed forklift operator and efficient at operating overhead cranes.

What we look for: High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Must speak fluent English.

Class A CDL license is required.

Qualification to operate lift trucks is required.

Years of experience: 3 – 5 years is required.

Experience working in construction or structural building industries is required.

Experience reading and understanding blueprints, designs and drawings is preferred.

Knowledge of loading and unloading trucks and the securing of the load.

Computer proficiency: MS Office [Outlook, Excel and Word] or similar software is preferred.
