Job Title: Construction Laborer
Location: New Albany, OH
Salary $17-$24/hr DOE
Day Shift
We're hiring experienced Constructions Laborers to support and assist Foremen and Superintendents with on-site projects, by filling labor intensive roles in varying capabilities, including but not limited to, performing industrial cleaning, commercial light construction, material removal. Responsibilities:
Depalletization, removal of large debris
Assist in set up and tear down of equipment
Gather proper tools needed to perform the tasks being completed, and have the knowledge of these tools and their applications
Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew
Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew
Regularly required to repetitively use hands to: push, pull, use fingers, bend and twist wrists
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Construction ( or similar) experience
Ability to safely lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and/or walk up to 75% of the time on the job
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be on time
Ability to Squat, kneel, bend, reach, pull, walk, climb continuously for up to 8 hours a day
Excellent communication, organizational and listening skills
Able to work in various weather conditions including not limiting: sun, rain, and wind
Self-motivated to learn new skills and trades
Ability to work Overtime, Saturday's and some Sundays
Authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to commute to jobsite location
Must be able to work overtime and weekends when needed
Must be able to stand, lift and work outside in all weather conditions
