La Boit Specialty Vehicles is a small, veteran-owned company. We build specialty vehicles from the ground up and are looking for a motivated person to fill a position in our CAD department. Experience in building mobile coaches a plus but not required.

Job Duties:

As a CAD Designer you will be designing mobile clinics primarily in the veterinarian, medical, dental, and blood fields. This will include creating detailed drawings for all aspects of the coach including layout, framing, lighting, and cabinetry plans.

Skills/Abilities:

Basic Microsoft Outlook and Excel (required)

Comprehensive understanding of CAD software (AutoCAD or Draftsight required)

Ability to accurately use measuring tools – tape measure, micrometer, fillet gauges, etc.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Ability and willingness to communicate directly with clients in a professional manner

Basic construction understanding (framing, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical) preferred but not required
