Senior Project Engineer

Opportunity

Our client is an internationally recognized, award-winning structural engineering firm, in Southern California. The Senior Project Engineer position involves design and detailing of structural systems for large, complex structures in many market sectors, primarily Type I construction. Applicant must be able to coordinate with BIM designers, architects and other consultants and will work directly with a Project Manager and a team of structural engineers in a dynamic office environment. Significant opportunity for growth and exposure to a wide variety of exciting and challenging projects.

Required Qualifications

7 to 10+ years of building design experience.

Experience in a wide variety of structural materials and building types with emphasis on design of larger steel and concrete structures in multiple market sectors.

SE license is a plus.

Experience with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD is a plus.

Experience with seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings using ASCE 41 is a plus.

Masters degree from a US university in structural engineering required.

Strong communication and people skills, and team players required.
