Onsite Monday - Friday 8a-5p

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant for a growing organization in Phoenix, AZ. As a Medical Admin, you will provide the highest level of customer service to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources through the coordination and administration of the front office activities. Typical responsibilities range from answering phones and greeting patients to managing health records and transcribing medical documents.

Qualifications

2+ years of office administrative experience

High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge of HIPPA and other medical insurance regulations.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and all aspects of patient appointment scheduling, insurance verification, creating and maintaining patient charts, and ensuring complete and accurate information.

Provide efficient cash collection through excellent reimbursement practices while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and established company policies.

Review charge information to ensure accuracy per payer requirements and make corrections as needed.

Submit claims, review claim edits, and resolve them, working with claim rejections and denials.

Assist with inventory as directed by Management when/if needed

Timely completion of all tasks.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour
