Job Summary

We are seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to join our team! As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will work under the direct supervision and control of a registered pharmacist, and perform packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other non-discretionary tasks related to the processing and distribution of prescription and non-prescription services in a licensed pharmacy that are permissible by law.

Also maintaining a safe, clean work environment. The ideal Pharmacy clerk candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is familiar with pharmaceutical best practices.

Responsibilities

Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Provide excellent customer service by company standards.

Maintain positive working relationships with pharmacy staff.

Maintain professionalism in appearance and behavior.

Process prescriptions and non-prescription services efficiently.

Meet productivity expectations set by the company.

Follow cash register policies.

Report any misconduct or unethical activities to management.

Address patient concerns and complaints appropriately.

Report product incidents and errors as per pharmacy policy.

Participate in surveys and training sessions as required.

Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

Adapt to updated policy changes as directed by management.Qualifications

Strong customer service skills

Bilingual speaking - Russian is a must

Excellent attention to detail

The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed

To comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing pharmacy.

Organizational and critical thinking skills that are sufficient to work effectively independently as well as with other team members.

Sufficient computer skills to be able to work effectively with pharmacy programs to effectively process and bill prescriptions.Offered benefits:
