As a Chief Clinical Officer, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, fostering superior quality patient care, standardizing clinical protocols, developing clinical strategic goals and program expansion and contributing to the recruitment and retention of clinical staff. In addition, the Chief Clinical Officer provides clinical, operational, and strategic leadership that promotes a culture of excellence in patient care. The CCO ensures that data-driven performance management and quality improvement programs are designed and implemented in a manner that aligns with the company’s overall strategic direction and core values.

Duties Include:

As a Chief Clinical Officer, you will:

Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinical standards for all clinical support employees, beginning with the hiring process and continuing through the entire employment process to ensure clinical competency.

Provide leadership and oversight of the Clinical Operations and Performance Improvement processes to ensure that they support the needs of the company.

Provide direction for company-wide, performance improvement initiatives.

Provide office specific and company-wide analysis of outcomes, benchmarking against national and state-specific levels.

Assist offices to analyze their outcome data and develop a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) to address issues.

Strategic Planning and Budget:

Participate with the Executive Team to develop the company’s strategic plan.

Communicate in a cross departmental/collaborative work environment.

Manage expenses to current department budget.

Submit annual department budget projections to President/CEO.

To qualify for a Chief Clinical Officer position with us:

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

A Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist with a Bachelors’ degree in nursing, healthcare administration or a related field, required; Master’s Degree preferred.

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist in the State of residence.

Minimum of ten (10) years of leadership experience in home health, with at least 5 years of involvement with quality improvement, patient outcomes, and data analysis.

Multi-site/multi-region experience within home health care preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Must be a high achiever, with a proven record of accomplishment.

Possess outstanding leadership and managerial skills.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

Able to regularly travel to RMC and/or company locations.

Able to engage in occasional out-of-town travel.

Ability to work flexible schedule and/or evening hours as needed.
