We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Inspector to join our dynamic Engineering team. As a Construction Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of our construction projects. You will work closely with our team of engineers and contractors to inspect construction sites, interpret drawings and specifications, and ensure adherence to building regulations and codes. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential buildings to large-scale commercial structures, and contribute to the creation of safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

2. Interpret and implement construction drawings and specifications.

3. Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, noting any deviations from plans, potential safety issues, or necessary corrective actions.

4. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to discuss plans and address issues.

5. Review and approve contractor submittals including shop drawings, product data, samples, and mock-ups.

6. Monitor construction progress for adherence to project deadlines and budget.

7. Ensure all construction work meets quality standards and is in line with project objectives and goals.

8. Conduct final inspections and sign off on completed construction projects.

9. Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, standards, and regulations in the construction industry.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Inspector or in a similar role in the Engineering industry.

2. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control procedures.

3. Proficient in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

4. Proven experience in conducting construction inspections and preparing detailed reports.

5. Excellent knowledge of construction health and safety regulations.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

8. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring construction safety and quality.

9. Ability to work in a team and coordinate with various stakeholders.

10. A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

11. Certification as a Construction Inspector or relevant professional certification will be an advantage.
