This position will support a Department of Energy office. The mission of this office is to provide centralized infrastructure planning processes; real estate services; program management for operations of facilities, maintenance, recapitalization, disposition, and line-item construction and perform project and contract management of line-item construction and major items of equipment.

This position is remote, with the expectation that candidates can travel to Washington, DC and work onsite as needed. Residency in the Washington, DC metro area is a mandatory requirement.

**This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the Nuclear Security Enterprise and its Integrated Contractors and programmatic requirements and budget structure for program management support.

This individual shall have experience managing work breakdown structure elements across multiple complex government programs or areas

Develop and support the management of program baselines, plans, task trackers and schedules that comply with the program's Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).

Assist the Government program/project manager in tracking project cost, schedule and technical performance.

Assist the Government with developing and coordinating Life Cycle Cost Estimates.

Assist the Government program or project manager in establishing project priorities.

Perform risk management activities to support risk, issue, and opportunity (RIO) identification, assessment, and prioritization.

Monitor and assist in ongoing assessment of the status of critical path activities and contractual deliverables to proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks related to cost, schedule and technical performance.

Qualifications .

25 years of government contracting, procurement and business experience.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; MBA or JD preferred.

Proven ability to build trusted relationships, both internally and externally.

Demonstrated success in DoD, DOE, or analogous program management, preferably within USACE (DoD) or DOE.

Demonstrated success in federal contracting.

TS or Q Security clearance or required.

Background in energy or clean energy program management preferred.

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
