Mechanical Assembler

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Enclosure Assembly Technician to join a growing production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and some assembly experience. You will be responsible for assembling and testing enclosures according to specifications, ensuring the highest level of quality and functionality.

Pay: $24-$32/hr (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to assemble components and fixtures accurately.

Utilize hand and power tools to cut, drill, and fabricate enclosure components with precision.

Conduct functional tests and quality inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or discrepancies, collaborating with engineering and production teams as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency.

Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred.

Experience in carpentry within any industry but preferably in a manufacturing or engineering field.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and diagrams.

Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools used in assembly processes.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.
