We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic team in the Welding Department. In this role, you will play a vital part in our operations by using your expertise to fabricate and repair metal components according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities:

Utilize various welding techniques (brazing, gas, arc) to join metal parts together.

Operate torches, electrodes, and other tools to cut, trim, and shape metal objects.

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to ensure accurate execution.

Set up and operate welding equipment, selecting the appropriate tools and materials for each task.

Perform pre-weld preparations, including cleaning, preheating, and positioning workpieces.

Inspect finished welds for quality and conformance to specifications.

Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).

Vocational school training in welding a plus.

Minimum of two years of experience in a welding environment.

Strong knowledge of welding processes, equipment, and safety protocols.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent physical condition, able to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.
