Position: Production Coordinator

Role Description
Responsibilities
• Daily communication and follow-up with overseas factories.
• Communicate with suppliers daily and resolve issues.
• Manage pre-production timelines, review reports, and recommend solutions to exceptions.
• Update WIP / T&A daily.
• Reports to the Production Manager and assists with various projects.
• Tracks submissions and ensures comments are going out in a timely manner.
• Update the delivery chart with reports and check UPC tickets from the factory
• Advise the factory on packaging instructions.
• Log all coming and going packages
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Manage the production process through the internal system.
• Responsible for requesting/processing all of the following: final development samples, fabric quality approval, fabric quality testing & scanning, lap dips, strike-offs, knit downs, etc.
• Ensure factories are updated on all comments on 3D FITS, PHYSICAL FITS, PP, and TOP samples.
• Process production fabric and garment tests with 3rd party labs.
• Review failures in garment testing and provide comments promptly.
• Review vendor reports weekly with the merchandising and production team and follow up on all pending items.
• Host weekly internal production WIP meetings with overseas partners to follow up on the status and update internal teams with potential order problems.
• Attend production fit meetings to ensure problems are highlighted and communicated to factories and relevant departments and monitor any changes that may affect costs.
• Organize and maintain product development-related samples throughout the office.
Qualifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in production planning and management
• Experience in project management and organization
• Familiarity with supply chain management principles is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
