Caregiver/Personal Attendant

Looking for a Caregiver/Personal Attendant for a 7-year-old special needs little girl who is in a wheelchair with delays and other health issues. Performs First Aid and initiates emergency response procedures as required, Identify safety hazards and emergencies. Calling 911.

Assist client with activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, toileting, bathing, nail care, oral hygiene, skincare, etc.) Demonstrates knowledge of infection control by proper handling of equipment, soiled linen, changing bed linen, and adequate hand washing.

Perform cleaning and waste disposal procedures. Reposition client at times, Assist client in transferring from bed, chair, wheelchair, etc.,

Caregivers/Personal Attendants must possess the following requirements and qualifications to be considered for employment.

Ability to remain moving for long periods

Ability to move/transport the client over 50 pounds

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Willing to undergo a background check

Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Warm and caring personality

Commitment to treating clients with dignity

Provide personal assistance and/or health-related services to client in their place of residence. Mask Required

Provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.

Work cooperatively with the client and family.

Report observations and problems to the EOR and family.

Upholds core values of respect, integrity, commitment, and trust.

A desire to work with the special needs and handicapped

Come to work in a clean, neat appearance and consistently present an appropriate professional appearance.

Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.

Pay: $13.34 per hour

Schedule:

2nd shift 3 pm-10 pm weekends a must
