MUST BE A DEGREED ACCOUNTANT
2+ YEARS CPA EXPERIENCE
CPA CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Job Description:
Our Client located at Greenway Plaza is seeking a Degreed Accountant with auditing and public accounting experience or CPA. Responsibilities will include the following:

Develop and maintain client contracts. Independently conduct field work on assignments. Knowledge of IRC Code Sections and Regulations, tax research, prepare complex tax returns both corporate and individual, prepare tax projections, supervise tax preparations, assist with Internal Revenue Service examinations. Develop a command of GAAP, OCBOA, unique or specialized accounting principals, and financial statement preparations. Must have a thorough understanding of auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques, including the Firm's quality control standards. Prepare and Audit program for subsequent approal by the engagement Shareholder or Manager.

SUPERVISE STAFF ACCOUNTANTS: Brief them on assignments, answer questions, review staffs progress periodically.

SKILLS: Must have technical knowledge and supervisory skills to supervise staff accountants, strong leadership skills. Must have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, attention to detail and organizational skills.

ABILITIES: Must have the ability to make decisions on routine accounting and auditing matters, manage projects in a timely manner, travel to client locations, willingness to work in a team environment, must be able to "think outside the box".

SOFTWARE: Experience with MS Word, Excel and a preference for experience with ProSystem fx Engagement.
