Roadway Engineer - PM Responsibilities:

Overseeing Roadway projects, encompassing collaboration with clients, primary contractors, and sub-consultants as part of a cohesive team.

Crafting Roadway project designs, including horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage system design, ditch profiles, guardrail calculations, and super-elevation diagrams.

Taking charge of the design, management, and supervision of personnel involved in Roadway projects, including the preparation of plans for diverse road projects.

Reviewing and assisting in the preparation of CAD drawings using GEOPAK, INROADS, Open Roads, and MICROSTATION.

Supervising staff engaged in the development of construction plans derived from engineering design calculations.

Overseeing or performing quantity assessments and cost estimates for projects.

Supervising and designing erosion control plans.

Managing the design and preparation of plans for traffic infrastructure, signals, intersection layouts, lighting, and signage.

Supervising the formulation of maintenance of traffic plans for roadway projects.

Participating in various meetings, including field checks, public information and involvement sessions, hearings, and pre-construction meetings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering

PE License, licensed in Indiana/Ohio

10-15+ years of experience in roadway design.

Demonstrated proficiency in creating roadway plans for DOT projects

Proficient in using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD platforms
