Seasonal Support Worker

The City of Westerville is accepting applications for Seasonal Maintenance Worker for the Public Service Department . This position performs seasonal maintenance on City streets and infrastructure; does related work as required.

Successful candidates will work as part of our Street, Utility and Environmental crews.

The Seasonal Support Worker would work May through August, 2024.

An additional opportunity may be available to work through December, 2024 with the transition to fall leaf collection.

This position is open until filled.

SUPERVISION Work is performed under the direction of the Public Service Maintenance Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF WORK (May not include all duties performed.) * Attends all assigned meetings and informs supervisors of suggestions and comments that could better the Service Department operation.

* Carries out any assigned responsibilities relating to the City of Westerville Service Department as directed by supervisors.

* Cleans and maintains equipment and reports problems to supervisor.

* This position is required to work in a variety of adverse weather conditions.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF WORK * Valid Ohio Driver's License * Ability to lift 50 lbs.
