Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications
Support the implementation of security controls, policies, and procedures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats
Monitor and analyze security logs and events to detect and respond to security incidents, anomalies, and breaches under the guidance of senior team members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of infrastructure, networks, and applications throughout their lifecycle
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and assist in researching and recommending new tools and best practices
Assist in conducting security awareness training sessions and provide guidance to employees on cybersecurity best practices
Support incident response activities, including incident investigation, contrainment, and recover
Contribute to the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Requirements:
18+ Years of Age
Interested in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Cybersecurity
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, frameworks, and best practices
Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems and other security technologies is a plus
Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools, penetration testing methodologies, and security incident response is desirable
Enthusiasm for learning and a strong desire to develop practical skills in the field of cybersecurity
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$16.50 - $27.50
